The Oscars Showed Us Why Typography Matters
After reading "The Oscars Showed Us Why Typography Matters", I learned more of the importance of Typography. In this reading I saw, why layout of typography is very important. At the Oscars they had a few examples of layout with type, the first was was very legible and readable and the category was place in a good spot and large. while in the second example the category was laid at the bottom and very small, which as the article said would make it very difficult for the announcer of the actor/actress life difficult, while being in front of millions of people. we were then shown an example of how that card could have been made better, by moving the Oscar symbol to the bottom and bring the category to the top and enlarge it, which would of made it better because the announcer would have been able to see what it was for very quickly.
